The Scriptures say that God inhabits the praises of His people. We as His people find out that we can praise Him for everything that He has done. We can spend days at a time praising and worshiping Him for His goodness to us. I love that!
However, there is a worship that exceeds even the praise of what He has done for us. That praise and worship is worshiping Him for who He is. There are so many who worship idols and false gods. These idols are made of silver, gold, wood, stone and earth. But they cannot see, hear, speak, smell, walk. There is no power in any of them. The ones who make them have to fasten them down on a pedestal so that they won't fall off. Our God is the only true and living God. Psalms 115:1 says, "Not unto us of God, not unto us, but unto Thy Name give glory."
Dear saints, let's exalt Him for He alone is God and there is none else. He is Holy in all of His ways, and righteous in all of His acts. Let's bow our hearts and lift our hands as we exalt Him.
"Who is like unto thee, O Lord, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?" (Exodus 15:11)
